Having been with this Surgery for 40 years, under old and new management, I can say this is a good GP surgery. With cutbacks and more patients, they do their best in what are trying circumstances. One of the reasons they get a 5 star is because of their receptionists, who always speak with respect and provide decent customer service. Some other practices Ive been aware of are abysmal, with rude staff. The practice is clean, and bright.

Called at 8am many occasions and been told by 8:20am that they are all gone whilst being on hold for 20 mins!! At 18:10pm i called up to book an appointment for later in the week as they are meant to still be open until 18:30 however i was on hold until 18:34 then the phone got put down on my call!! Lazy and rude receptionists!! Always try to give a judgement on your illness, sorry you are not my doctor!! I then arrive not even knowing which doctor i am going to get, degun is horrible and gives her diagnoses before you even see her & macualy is particularly good however you feel rushed and not as if you can really talk about you illness or what you have wromg with you, they are so keen to get you out of there!

Outstanding professional services.

Was originally very impressed with this surgery, now I am appalled. Everyday I've been calling now for 2 WEEKS to get an urgent appointment to be told by 8.15 sorry they are gone. I was in tears yesterday to the receptionist and she had ZERO empathy and couldn't get me in and just told me to call back and TRY again tomorrow. I've had it and I'm going elsewhere and I would warn you lot to do the same! There are plenty of other surgeries who CARE about their patients and don't let them cry on the phone because you cannot speak to your doctor. I've since had to PAY PRIVATE because of their incompetence. I have never felt so ashamed of an NHS surgery.

Gone down hill rapid. I have a lump on my hand and had an x-ray that showed no foreign body even though Dr Macaulay read Over the phone to me that It had! Advised me to go away for 6 months and forget about it. I had to tell him surely a scan would be appropriate as there is clearly something there! He reluctantly sent me for a scan and now I need a referral for safety reasons as most Hand lumps are benign but 1% can be cancerous!. Will not see Dr Degun as she has made her diagnosis before you even speak to her! Thinking of moving surgery now.
