I have several serious health conditions which I struggle to come to terms with . I was told to try and see the same Dr which is impossible. I have no problem with the Dr's at all. But after being with LHC for 31 years I have found a great deterioration in the attitude the reception staff have. I'm always made to feel a nuisance for calling,I can almost imagine the eye rolls!and almost think they are just about to say'am i bovered?Can I just say,you are talking to sick people! not someone trying to return a pair of worn socks to Primark! I always feel upset when I put the receiver down after calling. If you have no empathy go and work somewhere else!
Terrible been trying to call for three days now constant.Phone rings 4 minutes then cuts off.Discusting! Whats going to happen when it changes over its going to be a lot worse.
Phoned as a support worker for my young lady. Needed an appointment. Such a rude rude rude receptionist. Stereotyping, but Drs receptionists generally need better customer service skills. Why so rude.
Generally Doctors very good and waiting times reasonable once you have an appointment. My own GP is exceptional if I can get him. There has been a marked deterioration recently though and the repeat prescription service is a joke. It says 48 hrs before they send it to the Pharmacist but that is only if you bring it in before 9.00 am and it is often not ready a week later. We were promised a new Health Centre many years ago but nothing happened and it now looks derelict like the rest of the Laindon Centre.
The vast majority of reception staff need to go on some intense customer service courses to teach them a thing or two about customer service and how to just be generally be polite!Or they need to leave and be in a different job where they arent dealing with the public as they clearly dont like to nor no how to. Ive never known such rude people!
