We were sitting by the front desk and the phone kept ringing and no staff ever answered it. So if you are trying to phone for information or book a table good luck with that.If you order 2 gammon steaks you have to pay for an extra pineapple slice or egg on the second one even though it should come free as the first one does.The children's drinks that are included in the meal deal come in glasses rather than children friendly fruit shoot bootles or plastic cups. This is just asking for spillages or broken glass with small children not able to hold the glass.There are 4 options for dessert, on the lunch time menu, but the proffiterolls are never available. We were the first in at lunch time so not like they had run out. More like they hadn't prepared in time to get them out of the freezer.It would also be nice if they had the chicken risotto back on the menu like they use too.
It's a premier Inn so you can't go wrong at all. If you are staying here, be sure to ask for one of the bigger rooms, as the smaller ones are quite tight. The beefeater next door is also excellent
Very nice hotel. Staff really nice and friendly. On our check in last sunday Robert was in charge and couldn't have been more helpful. We stay here regularly and would recommend to anyone.
Nice place to stay but in this really hot weather it's to hot in the room and is uncomfortable to sleep the place should have air con in the whole building and be more comfortable to be there and they ran out of bottles of water. And be nice to have a mini fridge in the room as when did take water back to the room it soon became warm. Bit slow on serving at the bar as they don't have many staff on at one time .
