Very budget, bit to budget for me, could be really good as love the basic premise of the hotel

LUCKY IT'S ONE STAR. Lights falling off the wall, brown dirty carpet, paint coming of the walls/doors, nose from the road outside, rooms are away from reception so in the rain you are getting wet, dated rooms, restaurant is a smell of Fat and it's cold in there. Apart from the staff I can't think of a good word to say about it. POOR..

Very difficult to comprehend how sub standard this hotel is. Vaguely familiar to the Bates Motel and surprised that it hasn't been shut down. From speaking to a few locals; I understand that it used to be a lovely hotel and a focal point for the town. However it is now used as part of social housing. The hotel is in desperate need for an update. Woodchip walls and ceiling. Dirty brown carpets. Outdated bathroom. No extractor fan in the bathroom. Half of the lights did not work. Fixture not probably fitted to the walls. Strange smell in the room and bathroom, something akin to damp and moth balls.Difficult to get the balance of the temperature of the taps, you have two options scolding hot or freezing cold. The hotel is close to a dual carriageway and the sound of the traffic is constant, difficult to get any sleep. On the upside, for what it is the bathroom is clean and the people who work their are friendly and polite. Personally wouldn't recommend.

We stayed overnight at Hotel Campanile, the room was clean but the decor could do with updating. It looks more like a motel. Staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was good, it was a buffet breakfast but the fry up wasnt. It has a bar which was expensive. Nice garden area to sit in, good views. Overall for the budget price i would recommend for an overnight stay.

Free parking, which is also fairly secure as you have to ring button of an evening and there are plenty of cameras. Friendly staff, very good breakfast.Reasonably prices and in a good location
