My mom has heart problem, we call the ambulance and the guys that came home were nice and everything was fine until we got into the hospital. We had an Asian assistant ( Im saying Asian because I dont know her name) that didnt know how to put the infusion properly and instead of doing the injection slowly into the veins she pressed too fast and created a huge pain and other then that the liquid was flowing from the syringe and she throw it in the bin even if there Was still liquid in the syringe. Weve been waiting there for so long but I can understand that because we were not the only one in there. At the end of the night a black lady (doctor, again... Im saying black because I have noClue what her name was) came to us and instead of having a professional attitude she been laughing at me just because I dont have the knowledge about some medicine stuff, she didnt let me finish what I had to say, she talked over me and continue to give a rasist and childish attitude. I ask her to call somebody else as I need to talk seriously about my mom situation and she said she is serious but still continuing to laugh in my face. I ended up crying because allShe was doing didnt help and I wanted to see my mom well as her heart tension was 200. She been asking things like my mom medicine and because I didnt know the name of themShe said I m not responsible for my mom. ( I want to mention that my momCameHere in holiday, she got sick because we hang out and she had an infection in her body and that resulted to heart tension). The doctor lady started to threaten me and telling me that I m responsible for an adult and she can do something like reporting that Im not reponsible. First of all, my mom lives in Romania alone, every time we talk I ask her if she took her pills, but she is conscious and she can take her of herself as she is 52. She doesnt have any menta issues but only heart problems. Im here in UK for work. I go in the morning and I come at evening otherwise I couldnt help her with money. Also this started from the fact that my mom had a break of a few days from heart pills because she said she has liver pains. I listen and I beleave anything she said because I havent been in Romania to listen what the doctor said to her. Well I would say that for the break she had we didnt deserve this attitude from everyone including the reception also. And I recognise that it was a mistake to stopThe pillsFor those days but as the high positions treat the lower positions thats how they will treat people that come into that hospital. Very rude staff, unprofessional and childish attitude.
If you work in A&E you'll quickly realise just how unprofessional and rude some of the nurses are. Especially the ones in charge. Be warned.
