Since southend pdsa closed the basildon hospital is now over crowded. Hard to get phone answered, last min cancled appoiments etc. Not the staff fault, they been forsed to take on more than they xan handle. Staff are friendly & polite. Sbame on head office closing down southend branch

This is a great vets they are very helpful and nice. The only complaint i have is the fact babies and little kids are allowed to walk around and get in the way of the poor dogs who are trying to wait in peace. They are already stressed and upset enough as it is without screaming kids making everything worse. You can bet if one of the kids touched the dogs or upset them it would be dogs fault! PLEASE DON'T ALLOW UNDER 5s IN THE VET'S!!! This is extremely irritating and it is not a nursery! It is a vets! Leave your babies and kids at home! Its highly disrespectful for the pets.

For those of you, who are able to use this pet Hospital , I would like to reassure you, my experience has always been good, the staff helpful, the vets excellent & compassionate, I have a cat & dog, Who have visited, & they have been treated well, & had successful treatment.The bonus is, the new Hospital, is bigger, & clean, though you wait a while, it's quite cheerful chatting to others about there pets also, if you choose.Yes I would recommend this vets.
