I went to drop my daughter off at Laindon Station at 7.50am Friday morning to be met by cones at the exit and a very aggressive attendant who told me I could not do this. Now I may be in the wrong but there was no reason for him to be so aggressive. He would not tell me his name!
This is a small car park opposite Laindon station. As it is small it gets full quite quickly. You have to get there well before 8 AM to find a space here. It is cheaper than the official NCP station car park though. Normally in the morning, there's an old man that comes to your car, takes the payment, and gives you the parking permit, so you don't have to fiddle with the payment machine. This car park doesn't offer season ticket though, unlike the NCP one near by.
