Today was my first time at smile dental centre. I'm not good with phones, so through email the amazing, kind Erika sorted me out an appointment. Without ever making me feel I was a nuisance. She literally is an angel.I've avoided dentists over the years after another practice scared me So badlyI'm anxious meeting new people, let alone also visiting a new dentist I could barely breathe and burst into tears the minute I was in Dr. Sunny's room .But he was so compassionate and kind, he never once made me feel stupid . He treated me with respect that I have never had from a dentist before. He didn't judge me, nag me, or make me feel uncomfortable in the slightest.In fact he totally put me at ease with his kind, caring manner .He explained every single little thing he was doing, and what he was going to do. He said it was important I build trust with him, to see how he works, so I feel comfortable enough to keep coming back.That meant a great deal . Because dentists in the past have made me feel like a lesser being to them. They never seemed to really care .Especially being a NHS patient, it always seemed you mattered even less.Yet with Sunny, I genuinely feel he really DOES care about his patients. we aren't just numbers filling a quota. He actually wants to help, if that means taking more of his ( probably much needed) time, to spend making you feel at ease, then that's what he will do. I can honestly say I have never met a more gentle and kind dentist.If they were all like sunny, no one would ever fear going to the dentist again.I feel so much better after just my first visit, I feel I'm going to one day ,get my smile and confidence back. I know Sunny will look after me. He is an amazing dentist from what I have seen so far, and a very compassionate human being .I feel very lucky to be a patient at Smile. I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a dentist that actually cares, especially to anyone that's nervous/ anxious and avoided dentists. Because they know exactly the best way to support and guide you through it. Thank you Sunny, and Erika for being so wonderful x
I had been to them for the first time in emergency . Everyone was extremely helpful . I am a very nervous patient , and usually avoid to go to dentist unless I have to , but Dr Suny was very kind and understanding. He didn't rush me at all rather he was very polite. Best doctor I have met in years . I have registered my family now as well .
This was my first visit to Smile, transferring from another practice. I found the Reception process very thorough and efficient, yet warm and friendly. The wait was short and met targetted timings. My new dentist was professionalism personified. I was given a much more thorough explanation of my situation than the practice I moved from had given me with regard to the specific issue I had. The insistence for a solution that satisfied me came as some surprise, but by no means unwelcome. It was just something that I had not experienced before. Everything in the surgery was very professional. Very pleased with the outcome and my move.
Excellent service, I took a chance and called in on New years eve, having broken my crown off my front tooth. got an appointment for today, 2nd Jan and fantastically, Sunny managed to refit it. it may only be temporary, but I've got my smile back today! Going back next week to discuss a more permanent option. Thank you.
Fantastic Dentist - Sunny is so very professional and friendly, and made the whole process of having braces so easy. He makes you feel at ease by talking through every step he is going to take, to make sure you understand how the process works, what the outcome will be like and that you are both in agreement. I can honestly say the overall experience was amazing and my smile couldn't look better! Thank you Sunny! I would highly recommend to everyone!!
