Great park very tranquil and if my dog could talk she'd say love it love it love it
We come here a lot to the sporting village, the gymnastics is brilliant can't fault them. So my 5start is for them ... Waiting to pay to go swimming is a different story.
The South Essex Gymnastics Club is located inside Basildon sporting village and they have great facilities. Great classes. An Olympic size swimming pool and courts to rent for trampolining, ping pong and badminton. Great cost and fun atmosphere, great and helpful staff and great little cafe to grab some food
Brilliant leisure centre. Massive complex. It has a race track, swimming pool which is Olympic size...50 metres. I haven't seen all of it but they do have a little cafe where you can buy various coffees and teas, sandwiches, cakes and pastries. Well worth a visit.
Great Park, parking for free, nice open grass areas, good footpaths, nicely maintained. Can have a bit of litter occasionally, but the council does a good job of cleaning it
