Events not advertised enough - first comedy show was a quiet and minimal audience. Floors sticky and despite being few people the bar service was slow
My Daughter my Niece n Daughters Friend went Fri 10th Jan, Daughter n her Friend had drinks spiked n my Niece had to take my Daughter Bas Hosp then on a drip rest of the night, daughters Friend was in a toilet cubicle for couple hours so out of it she couldn't come out, scary night for them all. This isn't the only time either, n the Hosp said it happens a lot at that Venue. Something shud be done BUT what I ask myself.
According to the Unit 7 website, the club should have been open until 06:00 for the New Years Eve party. We asked at the door what time the last entry will be and we were told that it would be no problem to still get in at 03:00-03:30. We arrived shortly after 03:00 only to be told that nobody else is allowed in. We had even booked online tickets and showed them to the door staff, but it didn't matter... nobody else was allowed in. And to make matters worse, the club was to shut at 04:00. We left feeling very disappointed. None of us had previously been to Unit 7 so we were excited to see what it had to offer. Unfortunately, following this event, we will not be returning.
One of the security doesn't let my mate enter the club apprently he was too drunk to get in even tho I know he is not drunk and they took his ID and and kept it and pretend they didn't take it. My mate was asking him for the ID back so he can go home and they didn't give it back and aggressively shouted back at my mate!
Unit allowed too many people in for new years so you could barely move, people liked to cause trouble. On a different night usually good with the three choice of different rooms.
