I would say the best takeaway in Basildon. I have the same type of shop opposite where I live but choose to drive to this one. Food is not greasy and price is very competitive. They always give free prawn crackers too.
Nicely cooked Chinese food. Friendly staff. Nice touches too, such as a complimentary bag of prawn crackers in with the order. It was busy, but the settees for waiting on are comfortable. Parking is not easy, being either round the back of the shops in marked bays, or near the corner of Codenham Straight and Clayhill Road, which is restricted.
Easily the best Chinese food I've had in UK. Great service too, very friendly even though they are so busy.
