Honestly don't bother! Several emails sent, a lot totally ignored by secretary and supposed solicitor in charge. Passed from pillar to post with no answer, large delay in paperwork being sent out that required signing. Never have I had to call and chase the progress of a sale so much in eight years of working in the industry. One to avoid.
Absolutely shocking service. They were the solicitors of our seller. I can't describe how frustrating and stressful the whole process has been, largely due to PCS. Despite there being NO CHAIN, it took 16 weeks to complete (when it was a very straight-forward sale) due to PCS not answering emails, not responding to any phone calls, from our solicitor or the estate agents involved. The estate agent told me the only way they could elicit a response was to call 6 times and email 10 times - IN A DAY. They simply did not respond to our solicitor. Halfway through, the seller was so frustrated they wanted to change solicitors but it was too late by then. We missed our first agreed completion date, so had to cancel removals, days off work, there were mistakes on the contract, wrong documents being sent, then another excruciating two weeks for the correct one to be sent - the list goes on. I dread to think if we'd been in a chain or had to leave our rental on a specific date. In the end, we had to threaten to pull out to get anything to happen. PCS made the whole process so much more stressful and protracted than it should have been. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!
